Dillon is a great community to live in and become involved with. The Dillon Jaycees are sponsors of several projects throughout the year and could always use an extra hand or two.
Here are some of the volunteer projects the Dillon Jaycees are involved in each year:
A safety and skill based program that teaches students ages 8-14 how to shoot and properly handle a bb gun.
This program is sanctioned by the NRA and there are opportunities each year
for our students to go to State and National competitions.
A program that has been going on for well over 40 years, Little Skiers affords an opportunity for
students in 1st through 8th grade to learn to ski or snow board.
Lessons, lunch and transportation for five Saturdays to Maverick Mountain are provided.
Punt Pass and Kick
A one day competition for both boys and girls testing their abilities in the art of Football.
In the past 5 years, several of our local competitors have made it to Seattle for regionals.
Dillon Flag Football League (DFL)
The DFL Kids' Flag Football program provides an upbeat recreational experience for boys and girls ages preschool through eighth grade. In addition to social interaction with other kids and the chance to learn the concepts of teamwork and sportsmanship. DFL provides players an opportunity to gain an understanding of the game of football and to develop basic skills that will increase the the players enjoyment of the game.
Pitch Hit & Run
A one day competition for both boys and girls testing their abilities in the art of Baseball.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt-
The weekend before Easter is generally reserved for an early appearance of the
Easter Bunny at Vigilante Park. There are plenty of fun filled eggs as well as
special treats for kids of all ages.
Dillon Jaycee Wrestling Tournament
A Regional tournament for the 6-8 grade wrestling clubs
Time to kick off the Summer with a little fun. This
event runs the along with Dart to the Park and the JCA Brew fest
4th Of July Golf Scramble. 4 person teams.
In honor of our Nation we provide a flag display for all the businesses
to have a flag flying at their business on all national holidays.
